Spirit of David Presents ‘The Butcher and The Bridge’

Spirit of David presents:

The Butcher And The Bridge, an electrifying musical on the power of faith and love in the face of debilitating terror. Following in the tradition of Spirit of David Gospel Dance Club’s powerful repertoire of 1st October productions, The Butcher And The Bridge is daring, radically different and wholly unorthodox!

Billed to be Spirit of David’s most daring show to date, this will be the club’s first dance concert with an advisory content warning: guaranteed to have graphic imagery!
With an inspired cast of three hundred musicians, dancers, actors and support crew, The Butcher and The Bridge will take on cutting edge concepts applicable worldwide, particularly in Nigeria, at this present time.

Executively produced by Chief Co’ordinator Segun Lawal, written by media mogul Uyi Omokharo and starring such greats as  top Nigerian stage producer Gbenga Yusuf, concepts executive Bimbo Obafunwa, and choreographers Wale “Rubber” Sodade, Lovette Otegbola backed by Spirit of David branches worldwide, The Butcher and The Bridge is bound to be one spell-binding experience!

Get lifted… find hope, and faith; stir courage, and re-embrace the depths of love unbounded. See The Butcher and The Bridge : October 3 and 4, The Muson Centre, Onikan, Lagos.

“The Butcher and the Bridge. A story that depicts the constant struggle of Difference, Acceptance and Love. In a decaying world with so many questions unanswered…we find Nations driven by war and domination; Religion driven by tradition and false culture. Chaos seems to be normal and Right is lost in ritual. The answer to the Madness lies at the Bridge. The Butcher and the Bridge. A story like no other. A tale of Faith, War and Love.”
